I will start my review by saying that the pizza was pretty tasty. Other than that the whole experience there was frustrating and disappointing. We waited for about minutes before an employee came out and told us they mixed up our pizza order and would fast track our correct order. That took another minutes, and they still gave us the wrong pizza. We ordered the Cruz Classic and they forgot to put on the olives and mushrooms :/ We decided to eat the pizza anyway because at that point we had been waiting over an hour and were hungry. I had just gotten off work and had saved my appetite knowing I'd be eating pizza that evening. One of our friends went to speak to a server to let them know we got the wrong order again and to get the olives and mushrooms to top the pizza and thankfully they did. Then they tried to gaslight him by telling him that our table which was not true. The damn audacity. And while all this was happening another friend went to order a drink and they forgot about that and after minutes she went back up to ask for her drink, and they gave her the wrong margaritas. Like I said before, having been waiting so long it was easier to just take her wrong drink and enjoy it. Anyway yeah having to wait so long made the whole experience not great. I knew we should've just gone to pizza my heart( down the street) . The only reason we didn't is because we wanted to support the UCSC women's Water Polo team.

The pizza was fantastic! I tried the Cruz Classic and Pepperoni Jalapeño, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I’ve been to so many pizza spots in LA, and while they all have a similar taste and texture, this one stood out. The ingredients were top-notch! I also ordered the dry rub wings, and while the wings themselves were great, the drumsticks were a bit too mushy on the inside.

Disclaimer: I’m a NJ pizza purist so I have a palette that is harder to please. My friend was here a decade ago before her move to NJ and had incredibly fond memories of this place. I’m down to try local chains so we walked in after meandering the boardwalk. It was different to me that you would order and then sit but I liked how much faster that should be. I got a CO cider and we sat down. I was honestly surprised how long it took for our pizza to come out. There was a huge table in front of us that got like pizzas so I’m assuming that backed them up. Once it came out tho it was piping hot and honestly that matters a lot more. We got half garlic chicken and half cheese. It was smart because I got to try their red sauce too. I’m not saying that Woodstock’s is trying to immediate east coast pizza, but it wasn’t there. The crust is incredibly thin and has structure to hold the toppings. I loved how they rolled the end of the crust over the sauce as I usually just give that part to my dog back home. The white sauce is miles ahead of the red but both are fine.“If I moved here, this could itch the pizza craving”Vegetarian options: They have gluten free and veggie options. Also a build your own pizza.Kid-friendliness: It’s a pizza place with fountain drinks.

unofficial Dave Portnoy review. Basic bar style pizza. The sauce had no tang and the cheese had no bite, Similar to Cassidy's Pizza in Watsonville. Basic mozzarella with little to no parmasean. The undercarriage had flop with a mild crunch to it. My daughter rated it at . and I gave it a .The garlic cheese bread, "wild bread", was a decent appitizer with loads of garlic but it still lacked that cheese with a bite.
